Hiatus?

I've stopped accepting any more weddings. I've also increased my rates (of course with appropriate album upgrade) to curb demand for 2009. In 2009, bookings are case-by-case basis only. I may not accept any at all.

All other inquiries for 2008 will also be on a case-by-case basis as I have stopped accepting bookings for most of the year. I think Sept and Oct is the only month free with only two slots left for these two months. I will only accept a third wedding on any month on very special cases. Rates for 2008 if I do accept any will still be at $2800.

Why? Well, for one, I would like to spend a bit more time with my son before he starts going off to school and another is that I am moving full time into commercial filming. Both of these are expected to eat up a lot of my time. I've increased my rates to follow suit so that I can allocate more time to creating the images for the albums for any wedding I may accept in 2009. At the moment, my experience is that having these backlogs and a large number of albums to prepare and design with clients rushing me whilst their families and friends are pushing them only hinders my ability to give my best. I'd rather do one fantastic album than 10 mediocre ones. Hope you guys/gals understand. As many of you have pointed out in my facebook.. perfectionist >.< So.. let me do my best.

Commercial work will still continue as normal.
